How Piracy Impacts society

Piracy can cause a busniess like Adobe to put more restrictions on their software, and spend money on making it harder distribute their software for piracy. A company might have to raise prices a little from a huge hit if someone where to be doing something like this for a while or world wide.
Putting shareware and freeware software out there makes the value for the software less, so companies make less, but not as many people will find use with priacy towards their software.

Definition/ Example of Software

Freeware - software that is provided without charge.
Ex. Aol, Facebook, Google.

Shareware - software that is available free of charge; may be distributed for evaluation with a fee requested for additional features or a manual etc.
Ex. Skype, Piknik,

Open Source - relating to or being computer software for which the source code is freely available
Ex. Facebook, Myspace, ect.

Commercial Software - Software that is designed and developed for sale to the general public.
Ex. Microsoft Office, Windows, Itunes, Adobe.

Snow day

I had to get up at 8 to go over to my sisters house. Got over there and instead of sleeping i just ended up playing cod untill about 1. Walked up to burger king with my girlfriend, then back to her house. About 3 i had to walk my niece home from school. Had to stay at my sisters to wait for my brother to pick me up to go to my parents pizza place "Bailey's Pizza". Stayed till about 7 then went home and watched invader zim.
